The Yellowstone Brass formed in the fall of 2001 and have performed at a variety of settings from Sacrament Meetings and Church Socials to concerts and programs throughout our region. Several performances have been given as representatives for the Idaho Falls Symphony in their educational outreach program.

All members of this group have college degrees in music education, with three members having Masters Degrees. Each member of the group is currently teaching band. The membership currently consists of the following:

Steve Klinger (trumpet) is teaching at Madison Junior High School
Bill Weed (trumpet) is at Rigby High School
Dan North (horn) is at Madison High School
David Barton (trombone) at Maddison Middle School
David Burger (tuba) is at Idaho Falls High School.

So, collectively, they have enough time in school to be certifiably dangerous! If you have a performance opportunity for this group, please e-mail Mr. North and we can see if your event can fit into the schedule of the Yellowstone Brass.
