1998 - 1999 Uniform

The Loudest Group in the School Brody Mecham, Student Director and Anna Nate, Pep Band President Dan North, Steve Klingler, and Susanna Blackwood, advisors The Pep Band is a select group that performs for most home basketball games and assemblies. Auditions are usually held at the conclusion of Marching Band and Drum Major Auditions and this year consisted of the director's recommendation. This group performs at most home games from mid-December through the end of both Girl's and Boy's Basketball seasons, whether that is District Tournaments or the State Tournament. So, if you like to come to games and hate to sit alone, come join the Pep Band, the loudest, most spirited group at Madison High.

Because this is a class, attendance is important. A student is allowed two absences from Pep Band activities that they can use at their own discretion. When more than two occur, the student will be dropped from the group. Tardies for rehearsals or performances counts as half an absence, with excused status given for school related, or family related situations with advance notice given to the instructors. Students with either academic or attendance problems at school will not be traveling with the Pep Band. Students should plan for a likely trip to the Boise area for the Girl's State Tournament and the Boy's State Tournament.
